A Little Rebate To Help That Flu Shot Sting A Bit Less x2/29/12

Lysol has another nice rebate out for those of you who are planning to get a flu shot.  Just print out this rebate form and then send it along with your receipts showing purchase of a flu shot and any Lysol product for a $5 rebate.  Lysol products costing less than $5 are easy to find, and if you add one of the many printable Lysol coupons (sign-in is required) to the mix you have an even nicer deal.  What's nice about this rebate is that you don't have to purchase the Lysol product and the flu shot in the same transaction, or even at the same store.

If your flu shot won't be covered by insurance, consider getting your flu shot at CVS, where they are giving out $5 CVS gift cards to those whose shots aren't covered by insurance.

Update: M&Ms & Orville Redembacher Rebate Still A Moneymaker! x12/31/11

There rebate on M&M's and Orville Redenbacher's^® Brand Gourmet^® Popping Corn is still going on through the end of 2011.  Buy two specially-marked bags of 9.9 - 19.2 oz M&M and any 3-count or higher box of Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn, and receive a $9 voucher which may be used to purchase DVDs or movie tickets.

For those of you with a Kroger nearby, both the M&Ms and the popcorn is on sale, making this a money maker!  The M&Ms are priced at $2.79 and the popcorn is $2.19.  Couple this with the -.55 coupon from the Nov. 13 Smart Source, and you pay just $7.22 out of pocket and get a $9 voucher back!

At Publix, the deal is a little less sweet but still pretty good.  The popcorn starts at $2.99 while the M&Ms are $3.15.  After the -.55 coupon, pay just $8.74 out of pocket.  Not bad for two bags of M&Ms, a box of microwave popcorn, and a $9 movie voucher!

I have done this deal twice now and each time have received the voucher within two weeks of mailing them in.  Both times, I turned around and used the voucher on DVDs for Christmas gifts.  So easy!
