Perfect For the Holidays -- A Crock Pot Rebate! x11/30/2011

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  We have just finished our big lunch followed by a family game extravaganza.  Which means it's about time for a nap!

I love my Crock Pot and in fact, I cooked my Thanksgiving turkey (actually a turkey breast for our family of four) in the Crock Pot with this super-easy recipe that leaves my oven free for all the yummy sides.

Easy Crock Pot Turkey Breast

1 turkey breast (bone in or boneless)
1 can cranberry sauce (whole berry or not -- your choice)
salt
pepper

Salt and pepper the breast liberally and then place in crockpot.  Dump the can of cranberry on top, then cover.  Cook on high for 3-4 hours, or until it reaches 180 degrees.
